So, I’m already one week out of Pune and 5 days in Ukraine. Time goes by fast, so fast. First day it was almost impossible to believe, that I’m already here.  Actually I was very happy to meet my dad in the airport. Stories about India lasted for 7 hours traveling to my grandma and for 3 more days there. You start comparing: here we have this and there it’s in this way. Understood, I should have made more pics of things, we don’t have in Ukraine – food, fruits, basic things which are very usual to you, when you’re living somewhere, but about which other people can have no idea.
I have a language question here, switching between languages happened very fast, but even now I get confused which language and with whom I should speak. Today I woke up in the train and asked my dad: “Which station is this” in English language) later I realized it)
Getting used to people, prices and atmosphere of my own country. I got used not to eat a lot of meat, so here I see a big difference, when almost 90% of dishes are either with chicken or with beef. The funniest thing is that you really don’t want it now, just look and that’s all.
What else? Cultural shock? Yeah, I had a bit, when I went out for the first time in short skirt. Not usual feeling. Not so usual to see couples hugging and kissing on the streets. Hehehe, could I ever imagine that I will take time to get used to it?
Quite streets and traffic on the other side of the road. While driving a motorbike I had to remind myself to keep right, not left.
First 3 days I spent in my grandmoms village, where it was quite challenging to explain, why I don’t eat meat in big quantities.
Overall I’m happy. I feel excited of going to Mariupol.
