Yesterday surprised me with a number of pleasant news. Several of them were from Cris after coming back from his trip home, which were really cool to hear.

Olka came to Ahmedabad for her AIESEC internship. She's interesting fellow from Ukraine, who took this life challenging experience. It would be challenging  in any case, and I think it's pretty cool to go to work and live in another country when you're only 20-24 years old. None of the reality shows is able to compare with such kind of an experience and the qualities you are going to develop will help you during the entire life.

We  had a chess tournament in the evening. It is interesting to play with someone with whom you are about the same level or your thought pattern is alike. Then it brings more fun and enjoyment, both from the winning and from losing. By the way, our score was 2:2, then India representative came with his point of view on the game. Subsequent losses were charged to the general tendency of Indians to acquire the skill of the game from an early age and the fact that chess were found exactly in this country. Evening has left lots of positive feelings inside of my soul, and there are more of other board games and ideas.

Also we've watched the Scottish comedy series called "Chewing Fat". (In the sense -  When your brain works, you burn fat, oh!). Scottish English required an effort from me to understand what were they talking about. Generally, these series are a collection of comic moments from the life of the average middle-aged man in the country. It is interesting to get toknow that the Scots do not care about fitness and style, and they don't not care what other people are going to think about them. They have their 'tipochki in tracksuits and teachers, for who the word "sex" is something from forbidden areas. It was fun to see that the middle class people are quite jelauos about the rich scots and see them as quite gay ones. By the way, i've observed the set of "global  long bearded" jokes, which were the easiest things to understand:)))
Several interesting observations.

First ones are going to be from the field of advertising. They really make me smile,so i'd like to share.
Imagine a billboard of a pure purple color which has just 2 lines:

"Le Kebabiere.

Authentic Indian Quizine."

As far as I understand the meaning of the word "Authentic" (and even "Google translate" had supported me in that) as "original." Question, if the restaurant provides the original Indian cuisine, why the title is with a clearly French bias? )
Let's go ahead. Billboard Number 2.

"Girls love six packs" (The girls like six packs, pumped up the press, in the sense) - fro myour point of view, what is advertised there? True, it's really about 6 packs, but about 6 different packs of condoms "Contex". The location of advertising also attracts attention - the entire wall of one of the biggest cinemas of the city)

TV also adds its part to common fun.
The fact is that the Indians are traditionally fond of gold and various items of it. So there are some funny advertisment stories. One of them is:

He and she.

She: "I love him because he gives me gifts." Immediately it's shown that guy gives her something fom platinum and diamonds (girl's best friends are the same all around the world).

He: "You are the most valuable thing I have." This is how: his most valuable thing is she and her are his diamonds))

One more ad which is really fun to watch.

Family.
Such an average Indian daddy (in the sense, tummy and everything else with it), Mom and two children. It's Daddy's birthday and he have already closed his eyes waiting for a gift. "Ready" - "Ready." Eyes are opened and he sees a muscular chest of the Indian guy with an excellent figure. "Well, ji, let's start with squats and push-ups." I personally love 2 moments in this ad: daddy's face at that moment and the fact that the product which is advertised is the Tetra pak for the juices!
I've also made one more discovery.I saw, how papaya grows. Yes, I thought that it grows in the supermarket shelves or in trays on the market, but it turned out that it grows on the tree. Very unusual to see 3-4 kg fruits at  tree, which seems to be very thin. Photo is attached.

Good morning!
here am i and some kind of thoughts which are ready to be put on the paper.

Gratitude. This morning i woke up, fullfilled with it. For any small thing, which happens in my life. For the place, where we live, for people, who're my friends. It's very true, that real and honest friends are very hard to find. And i'm happy with those ones who're in my life. Funny fact is, that you never actually know in which way you'll meet them and when. Once i've read, that each person is a gift in your life. Usually you get the gifts when you don't expect them, but the universe thinks that you're worth enough to get it. That's true. Some people tell, that i believe in fairy tales in life. Not exactly. I think, that you're given challenges in order to grow and you should be happy to get them. Because you get any challenge in order to grow, you just need to go till the end. And my fairy tale is that i believe in happy endings.

Some up-date for the last couple of months) Except yesterday's one)

Trip to Delhi. Interesting, challenging, with a lot of positive moments about it.

New habit: Cycling. This is the thing, which gives me lot's of joy and happines on the weekends.

People. These months gave me a couple of new friends and i'm very grateful for it.

Life is continuing with surprises. And i think, it's really cool, because everything you get only in the moment, when you're ready for it.

So, its time to write something here also. Think, some of my posts have already started from this kind of the phrase. in any case, it's better late then never. so let's do it.

Today is a cool day. One more cycling trip for around 80 km in total. Khadakwasla dam is one of the biggest ones, surrounding Pune. 5.30, morning, everything is still calm and dark in the streets, but 2 crazy russian travelers are already going on their cycles to the meeting point. i like to drive when it's early morning, mostly because the roads are more empty and there is no need of the cross-cultural communication with rickshaw and bike drivers with the use of some emotional russian expressions. I like also to see the sunrise in the city, like to observe how the sky changes its color and the first rays of the sun are coming from the clouds.

We reach the dam at around 8. On the way we were quite interesting entertainment for indian citizens) Yup, 2 white ladies in quite open dresses on a cycles. For men and kids it was quite interesting)) haha. In any case. Our stop is at some restaurant to have a cup of tea. Wow, we've already done 38 km! cool))) Its so calm there. Still a bit of  of  fog above the lake and some drops of the rain. And peaceful atmosphere all around.

With cool company time flies almost immediately. Chatting, pictures, some beer for guys. I'm scared of consuming alcohol while driving, crossroads are big question even in normal condition))) Think, we were the only customers of that place in such an early time, so their faces looked quite surprised))

I like this kind of trips. Even if it took 8 hours in total and i got home tired. But this is a kind when you're happy to be tired in this a way)) and you want more and more. Think, only we are so crazy about the cycle trips, because you should see the face expressions of our friends, when we've asked about tomorrow))

Home. Found our men with Playstation and new games for 2 ppl. Pizza together... Day is going cool)

p.s. Pictures are on  facebook...

The week from the last post sounded to be one of the most challenging ones. and it's good. i've learnt so many different things in different areas of life. actually it means, that i'm ready to face such level of the challenges. The main thing now is to implement all the action steps in the reality and move ahead. When i feel to hard i tell myself, that if i got scared after each fall, when i was learning how to walk, i would not be able to do it till now. So life is moving. And i really started to value things that i have more. Think you need some situations in your life, just to realize, that nothing is given to you for granted. i understood one more thing - i'm really lucky and happy person, thanks God for it. and if to take happiness, it should go from you, the last thing is to expect somebody to make you happy. But sometimes it's so easy to feel sorry for yourself, then i wake up from such thoughts and move further. i love this life too much, to give up so easily. And i want to learn, and implement my learnings. So, less words, more actions. It's like a mountain, you climb and fall down and then climb one more time, and so on. And the more experience you get, the more complicated it is to climb that mountain, but you do it. Why? 2 reasons - you get the pleasure of climbing and falling down and you want to touch the ice on the peak. that's it. Or like in the computer game -when you reach some level there will be very beautiful cut scene or video)

What else is going on? we plan to have an internet in our flat. Sometimes it is so strange to me, that in India with it's good level of technology development, the price of the internet is so expensive. Then i think about the % of the population, who are actually using it, so it becomes reasonable.

There are a lot of new people. You know, lots of them are still new for me, even if they are here for 1 month already. That's more about the difference in a distance, as i've mentioned some time before.

Wednesday, 8 September 2010

this week was full with different events and memorale dates.
First of all on 4th it was my first anniversary of being in India. yup, time just flew away...but the first memoriesare still alive. I remember my first flight in life and taking pics of the clouds, New Delhi airport and having no idea, what to do after coming out of it. Remember Mayank and Kunal, who made my 1st 2 days in India full with positive emotions.Trainees flat in New Delhi and my trip to Pune. First memories about CS and a number of the memories, connected to my Suzlon XP. Time goes by and i've already joined new company and preparing to make a trip to Ukraine. When you're there you can't believe, that you've ever left that place. Coming back to Pune, brought a lot of changes in the lifestyle. We started to have our separate place to live with Utkarsh and that added a lot of the interesting and happy moments from the one side and a lot of responsibilities from the other side. I'm happy and i thank God a lot for sending him into my life. My xp in Stratecent makes me feel satisfied and wish to do more and more. I feel this capacity inside, so searching for the opportunities. On the date of the 1st India anniversary Kishu's dad was here, so we had a really interesting time with him.
Yesterday i was reminded (Thanks, Edu) about another date. My xp with Suzlon started on 7th of September. It was my first international corporate xp and i'm really glad, that i have it. I try to keep with my excolleagues in touch, but it's a bit different from chatting each day, when you're working together.
Know, i'm happy to celebrate these days, because they tell me about one more thing: live is like a river. it's floating constantly and each day brings you lots of positive moments, luck and xp. And i'm really happy about it.
we, dressed in traditional way
I trully believe, that i will have chances to fulfill my dreams and to meet all the people, with whom we were here in Pune at least one more time, even if we're on the other corners of the planet now. And i know, that both of us, will make our best to sustain and develop our happy life together.
